I am just setting up a website for my little company i’m starting up.
I’m just not sure how I go about changing the checkout layout. I’ve just got the standard downloaded one but want to change the “excluding shipping and tax” part and maybe the format a little of the rest.
I am completely lost so if anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

Thanks
Megan

Please look into the wpsc-default.css file to do so. You may want to use Firefox Firebug extension to inspect the elements live as this will save you loads of time.

Thanks Roy, unfortunately I am a complete noob to this so think I would do much more harm than good if I start mucking round with the coding. I just thought I may have missed something somewhere for the layout of it.
Will have to try find something else I think.

All websites will use CSS to style the site (proper ones anyways) so there is no getting around this…

Either that or you hire a professional to do it for you. Or the third option would be to use a theme that is already developed with styles applied to that area. If interested, you can check out any of the themes here http://splashingpixels.com

ah just realised I meant the shopping cart not the checkout if that makes any difference.
