desibot

WP e-Commerce: 3.8.1
GoldCart: 2.9
WP: 3.1.1

1. In the Coupon admin section, in coupon edit mode:
The coupon condition delete is not working. When I click the delete link, I get taken back to the coupon list and the coupon condition is still there in the coupon.

2. On my checkout page, Coupons that have the following conditions are not working on checkout:
Item Name: ‘Is equal to’, ‘Contains’, ‘Begins with’
No discount is applied when I use coupons with those conditions. The same coupons were working in version 3.7

Thanks for your time,
Sam

I had same issue with wp 3.1.2 and wp-ecommerce 3.8.3. Fortunatly all the products I wanted to supply free post to were in the same category so I implemented this hack here (4th post down) http://getshopped.org/forums/topic.php?id=13556#post-52350. hack was written for 3.7 but works ok in latest vesion and got me out of a jam by bringing in the condition “in category”, something that should have be in the coupon conditions long ago. Looking at things I guess not much has been altered with coupons with the 3.8 update. If your items you want to discount are not in the one category this hack may not be for you but its a thought anyhow.

This was fixed in 3.8.2.

If you’re first issue is still a problem can you provide info on what browser you’re using, pretty sure it WorksForMe …

Just to clarify, my response to desibot was in relation to his 2nd issue. have not seen his 1st issue. I have tried “item name, contains” on 3 different sites all running 3.8.3 and it doesnt work.
