The old URL on the old site. And the new URL on the new one.
I tried also to change URLs but no success (old URL on the new site, new URL on the old site for example).
Do you have an idea?

I just purchased the Gold Cart Plugin on December 28, 2011 and the API key that I was issued did not work. I receive an error that states it’s incorrect. I have read all of these forums and see there is no viable resolve. I did not hit the “reset” button, so I know that is not the problem. I think it was issued incorrectly. Has anyone resolved this issue or do I have to wait until they return from their long holiday? This is very frustrating. Thank you.

The most common problem people have is that they copy the API and include an extra character at the beginning or the end, so when they paste it, it’s wrong.

OK, I can’t find an answer to this one – I have uploaded the folder/files to the wp-content/plugins/ folder, checked they are all there and the correct size etc.
However, I can’t even see the Gold Cart plugin in my plugins list to activate it, never mind get to the point of entering the API key!
Any idea why I can’t even see the plugin to activate it!?

Can you post a screenshot of your directory, and of the plugins page in WP, (can’t put the image here, but you can put it somewhere like flickr and post a link)

Ignore me, I’ve made a stupid error and been using the wrong FTP account!
Have now installed Gold Cart + API key and it works as intended.

I have no submit button showing, just reset. How am I supposed to activate the gold cart?

The zip file I got did not have ‘gold_cart_files_plugin’ directory , it had ‘gold_cart_plugin’ directory I uploaded that, and activated it, but not seeing the advanced features (multiple images) working on my products.

Go to the page above and you can fill in the form, I think that it gives the API key from memory. (Its a few years since I used it)

We have a customer that has the name of a previous web master as their Gold Cart Activation name. They want that individual’s name removed and replaced with another name for security purposes. What are the steps to do this?

For those that are confused on how to “Activate” the “API”. See below.
Log-in to the Admin backend area;
On the left side, click “Dashboard”;
Look down and find “Store Upgrades” and click it;
Enter the Username and API Key you were given;
Click Submit;
Enter your website URL and click Submit.
That’s it!
Now you can go to your Settings > Store and find your new features unlocked.
