I am having a very hard time getting WP Ecommerce to work properly.

The Fancy Notifications are not working at all on my setup. Without those, there is not a good cart option as the other cart options do not refresh when a user clicks the Add to Cart button. Can you help me determine why this is not working?

Also,when you select a shipping cost during checkout, it does not automatically refresh the total. How do I make that happen. The user needs to see an updated total before checking out.

Please help.

I have changed a couple of things in your server/theme,
First the file permissions were preventing some WP e-Commerce theme assets from loading. I fixed that issue
Second, You had jQuery directly linked in your themes header.php file, which can cause conflicts with plugins, so I commented out that line. See this article for more information about this issue

Thirdly, I made a temporary fix ( I modified a line in a WP e-Commerce core file ) to get your fancy notifications working. But this is a temporary fix. To get the Fancy notification working correctly then I believe you need to ( or get your host to )
modify the php.ini file for this server to set ‘output buffering’ to ‘no value’ rather than 1024, which is what it is set at now.

I really appreciate your help. Is there anyway to modify the behavior of the shipping options during checkout to auto refresh the page or the total of the order after a shipping method is selected? Right now, it does not adjust after the zip code is entered and a shipping method is selected.

Also, I emailed in through the Gold Cart API contact method about my API key being available on this installation of WP versus on my original installation which was broken and I had to rebuild the site on a new instance. Any way to transfer the key to this instance?

We can sort your keys out for you if you provide us with the key we will reset it and then you can activate this on your live site.

As for the checkout page the order total at the bottom of the page should update when you select different shipping methods. The order total up the top will not update as its the sub total for the products happy to add a note in there “excludes shipping” if thats more helpful?

Ok we have a bit of a problem here with your USPS, we have seen this problem once before this week so we are going to get the developers to check it out.

Its Friday afternoon here in NZ so I am not sure if they will have time to look at it before the weekend, but we are working on this problem and the support staff will update you on Monday with any progress.

Sorry for the delay on this one but its a bit tricky and something the devs would be better to look at!

I am trying to launch this site tomorrow and need a bit of help to finalize elements.

Your Account – How do I provide users the ability to create an account? Also, what about a Forgot Password option?

UPS Integration – I need to integrate the site into UPS and when I try to do that, I get XML errors. Also, when using an integrated shipping option, I was using USPS as a test, it will not allow me to progress through the checkout process. Upon clicking submit after entering all the checkout information, it simply returns back to cart page with the shipping calculation option showing and no other fields and in order to see the error message, you have to recalculate the shipping charges.

You will see that througout the pages of the site, the header image is different. I would like to adjust the header images for the products. How can I modify that?
