I think you’ll have to edit it under Store > Settings > Admin

I am trying to install this plugin and can’t get it to display in the settings. I am running version 3.7.7 of wp ecommerce.

Help?

So – you’ve installed the plugin, and activated it in the Plugin’s section of your dashboard? If so, then the weight/region shipping should show up under Store > Settings > Shipping.

Yes, I have installed the plugin and activated it. I even get the new option to manage regions in the main menu, but nothing under Store > Settings > Shipping.

I’d expect to see that behaviour when the plugin is installed on a “too-early” version of WP e-Commerce – so I’d advise checking your WP e-Commerce version as a first step – the plugin only works with WPEC 3.7.6beta3 or newer (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-e-commerce-weightregion-shipping/faq/)

If you’re running a version higher than that – then it’s a new issue I’ve not seen before – if you drop me a note here with some login details I’ll happily take a look.

I just uploaded the plugin to another shopping cart for a different client and got it to work fine. Frustrating :(

Do you need both FTP and WP login info?

Thanks for you help!

I’m having the same problem with WPEC 3.7.7. “Manage Regions” appears, but no selection under settings/shipping.

Edit: It works when I disable the Gold Cart, when Gold Cart is re-enabled the settings disappear.

Edit2: I upgraded to gold cart 2.8 and now it works.

Yes, there’s a bug in certain (older) versions of Gold Cart that stops external shipping plugins working. Updating to the latest, or applying the fix here should resolve it:

I was confused by the fact that “Manage Regions” was showing, but that’s not affected by the bug…

Hi Lee,

Can I hire you to adapt the shipping plugin for me? What I need is this:

Orders shipped within the United States (flat prices for any order):
Economy (4-10 days): $3.98
Priority (2-4 days): $5.95

Outside the USA:
Product=0-$13: shipping is $3.98
Product=$13.01 to $45: shipping is $12.98
Product=$45.01+: shipping is $24
