Hi jefferis, Could you try go to Settings -> Permalinks, click Update to refresh the permalinks rules, and see if it solves your problem? |

I have the same issue. Links to my shopping cart were working fine with 3.1, but now I upgraded to 3.1.1 this morning. Now I am unable to reach the shopping cart from my shopping cart widget in the sidebar. I reverted permalinks back to the default, updated a second time per the prompt, then switched back to the month view I wanted, and updated a second time. Logged out of my admin session, cleared my browser cache, and I see the same 404 error. Any ideas? |

Could you give us access to your WordPress admin panel and FTP as well so we could investigate further? We’re aware of the permalinks problem, but have been unable to reproduce on our test servers so far. |

@garyc40 Thanks for the offer of assistance, but I am leery of opening access to my site since you’ve only been on the forums here for two days. Can you give me any assurance that providing you this information is benign? I appreciate your help, and hope you understand my caution. |

I’m also getting the 404 error in all subpages below the products-page. Currently on WP 3.1.1 and WPSC 3.8. Here is my url: store.eienone.com. Kindly please advise. Thanks |

@garyc40, I spoke with a friend locally yesterday about this. He recommended I check out my checkout, etc. pages which were malfunctioning. When I logged into my Dashboard, and went to Pages, I noticed the Checkout, Products, Your Account, and Transaction Results pages were all properly named but appearing as Draft pages. I edited each page, published them, and now am able to use the plugin properly. Don’t know if this fix will help the other users here, but it worked for me. |

I too am having the same problem with the subpages not displaying. Im pretty sure its something with the permalinks as I can go to the default theme and the checkout displays fine. I also deleted my pages and reinstalled WPEC and let it create new pages. This only worked for a minute til I created product pages and now nothing works again. Ive tried updating my permalink many times to be sure its saved as well as flush the cache (which I assume is the new way of updating urls in the old versions via the admin page?) Please help |

Also, all my pages are published, none are in draft. I can move the checkout page up to the top level and not make it a child of product page and it works fine. Will the program run correctly if the shopping cart, transaction results, and your account are in the top level? It makes more sense for my site structure plus it works. Thank youuuuu! |

I think I’m having this problem too. I don’t have an issue with the fancy permalinks for my products but subpages of ‘shop’ come up as ‘Nothing found’ (although don’t show the 404 message). The pages automatically generated by e-commerce seem to work, but not sub-pages I’ve created, so: WORKING (product page): http://involver.org.uk/shop/primary/how-to-be-a-smart-school-councillor/ I’ve updated permalinks a number of times with no apparent effect. I changed the parent page to ‘aboutus’ and the page displays (I’ve left it there for the moment so the page is displayed somewhere on the site). This was working fine before the upgrade. I haven’t had any other problems with the upgrade. |

Hi Mike, Thanks very much for checking that out for me. I can’t still see anything on http://involver.org.uk/shop/delivery though. Thanks for the headsup on the button too. It looks fine in FF4, but (stupidly) hadn’t checked in other browsers. Will add the css you suggest. |

This is very annoying! As just stated, I did s fresh install of WP & WPEC on new hosting space and it was working fine… then I just added 2 widgets – Products Tags and Price Range…. this broke the site again.. the category pages this time were the only ones to show 404. I since removed the widgets, put my permalinks to default (save) then changed back to my custom (/%category%/%postname%/) and the categories are working now, but the rest of the site is BROKEN!! Gary, one of my dev sites is below – if you can give me an email address, I will send you the FTP http://tkc.ignitionmedia.info/wp-admin can you please look into this ASAP |

Vark, thanks for the link – unfortunately the redme.txt in the plugin and the links to documentation are broken so how this plugin works is unknown and cannot be used. |

This issue has been fixed on our development branch, and will be included in our next bug fix release. If you can’t wait, please click here to download build 318, then use FTP to replace your current wp-e-commerce plugin with the extracted content of the file you just downloaded. |

SOLVED! Hey guys, I was having the same issue & everytime I added a subpage to the products-page all non WPEC subpages stopped working. All you need to do is change the products-page permalink to something then change it back & bingo! |
