This plugin adds unlimited extra personalization fields to WP E-Commerce. For example, if you want to ask the customer for Front Engraving, Back Engraving, and a textarea for a Personalized Message, this plugin makes it possible. You can add unlimited fields, and they’ll be added as options. Then, for each product, you can select which Personalization fields you want to appear.

This does not seem to work. The plugin loads correctly, and I can access and save information via the admin site, but nothing shows up on the product pages. Any thoughts?

    Good morning,
I appreciate the personalize plugin – it works on the single product page when I enter information in the text field – that information is carried over to the checkout page, BUT when I entered the same information on the products page, that same information is NOT carried over to the checkout page. A bug? Can you resolve that issue? Seems a basic problem… can it be fixed? Regards, Bill Stroh

Just exchanged a quick email with Derek and while he can’t help me (big workload) he did say my only concern should be removing the personalization option off the Products Page as it I only need it on the Single Product page. Would someone please help me decipher where I can adjust the code to remove the personalization option off the Products Page. Look forward to hearing from someone. Thank you. Bill Stroh

    Another hello,

I would like to add that I would like to have the personalize product options only visible on the single product page, rather than the products page. Look forward to hearing from you. Bill Stroh

    Hi there!
I am actually working om a shop solution for personalized products. This is “nearly” the plugin i´m looking for. Is there a way to have a feature for the customer also to upload an image or some hint how to implement it. And then the image should be visible in the checkout…Thanks for any answer. Peter

Peter, I believe uploading a custom image is, in fact, included in the WPEC Personalize plugin. There should be a checkbox on your single product page admin pages that allows for the uploading option to be turned on (it’s off by default).

This plugin works fine, however when I add a personalization field, something I have to do often as the database begins to grow, I’m finding it adds that new option to EVERY product. Is there a way around this?

      Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your report on this plugin, I have not looked into this plugin to much myself so am not familiar with the code however if you contact the developer on their blog here: http://www.derekweathersbee.com/ then im sure Derek would be able to help out or answer your questions.

      Thanks

    Hello,
It’s possible to add select option?

Is there any way to get the personalizations to appear in the shopping cart so users can see them at check out?

Is there a way for the personalized information to be sent via e-mail when a customer makes a purchase?
I have 3 products for sale, two of which have variations and the third will be customized text. The variations appear in the e-mail no problem but the customized text does not. The only way to see the text the customer wrote is to log into the backend of the site and go to store sales – this is not going to work for my client.
    Please advise.
