Upgraded without problems, but…
- files “edit-profile.php, user-downloads.php, user-log.php” still have not translatable menu,
- still exist “ptag implode error”, solution -> http://blog.meloniq.net/2010/03/04/fix-wp-e-commerce-3-7-5-3-ptag-warning-implode-error/
I will be keeping an eye on the comments here before making the upgrade. last upgrade I had some issues but quickly figured them out. I am now focusing on optimizing my site speed with some java compression and css compression plugin tests. Definitely dont want to create more work for myself by breaking something in wp e-commerce.
Here is what i am not seeing addresses though in this new release changelog:
1. multiple images not working with gridview… since last upgrade still cannot view more than 1 picture in the single product view.
2. seo friendliness of wp e-commerce: still grabs entire description for meta description tag. my workaround has been to limit the description to 60 characters and place the remainder in the additional description (i wish this field was formattable with a wysiwyg, cuz that would solve my issue)
Once i see these issues addressed I will be all over another upgrade. until then, it aint broke so i aint fixin it (again lol).
Hi, we are trying to develop a WP site with a ecommerce plugin but we need it to be able to change languages at the moment from English/Spanish. We see that the current build 3.7.6.7 doesnt support that, it allows you to set one language within the setting but not to change!
We are using the qTranslate plugin to change languages on the site and we need the texts within the ecommerce plugin to change at the same time. we saw that someone said that version 3.8 will have the functionality is this true? we need to find a solution urgently please help.
After upgrading to 3.7.6.7, I noticed that the Dashboard on WP admin encounters a problem. I can’t move the meta-boxes around, as well as, I can’t activate/deactivate any of the meta-boxes within Screen Options. If the WP e-Commerce plugin 3.7.6.7 has been deactivated, the problem doesn’t happen. Looks like I’ve to revert back to 3.7.6.5 then … *Sigh*
My apologies. After troubleshooting the problem, I realised it isn’t the WP e-Commerce plugin 3.7.6.7 that’s causing the above mentioned problem. Apparently, it’s the theme that I’m using that’s causing the problem after all. Very, very sorry for this mistake.
Y this version has less problem then previous. I tested this plagin on localhost and unfortunatly cant download any product from my shop. SHop inform me that i got all what i bought and i didn’t try any downloadble product. So plagin not work again:)
I’m going to upgrade my Shop next week to 3.7.6.7 from 3.7.6.4, will let you know if it fixes my downloadable products issue. In the meantime I’ve set up my Premium Plugin Updates page to allow customers to download the latest release of their Plugin; same infrastructure as here on GetShopped.org
Shop’s working a dream.
