Case Study: www.icondock.com
September 26, 2011

The icondock.com website has been recognized by some of the best designers in the world for its cutting edge User Interface design and it has been profiled on the official WordPress showcase.
The IconDock website not only handles hundreds of weekly sales but the administrators of the site find it dead easy to manage a catalogue of literally thousands of icons.
The IconDock website uses a custom styled version of the Drag and Drop shopping cart Drop Shop Plugin, and the Product Slider Plugin. The IconDock website smoothly and graciously guides customers through the website through to making a purchase.
Simply put there is no easier way to sell your digital goods online.
When I visit the Website: “www.icondock.com” then I see no images on the website!
Can someone check this, as this is not a great showcase like this!
Would like to see, what the Drop Shop Plugin looks like…
I’m looking at the site now on a Mac using Chrome, Safari, and Firefox and it works perfectly… I’m not sure what you are doing or what is happening for you.
When I try to register, after click btuton Register , I don’t get message (“Registration successful.”“An email has been sent to the site administrator. The administrator will review the information that has been submitted and either approve or deny your request.”) that I have successful registration, just loading image looping, but I have registered, but on the screen missing this info about successful registration
I’m on the site and added a couple of items, how do I check out?
If I want to have the same custom styled version of the Drag and Drop shopping cart and Product Slider plugin as IconDock.com, what do I need to do? I’d like to simply click on a add product button and the product will automatically feature in the left sided shopping cart.
Thanks
I will have a professional shopcart on my new website but i want the same as IconDock, com installed and designed what do i exactly need for this and where can i buy or let installed this. My template is a wordpress template.
Kind Regards, Peter The Netherlands
Hi Peter,
IconDock has a very customized theme there are wordpress wp-e-commerce themes out there that will give a simular look or feel like icon dock however for a custom theme or site designed like this you would need to talk to a consultant as they will be able to do exactly what you need.
The Guys over at tokokoo have some pretty awesome themes that you can customize from a admin interface and option menu.

The drop shop can be added to most themes along with the product slider – however to get the exact same look you would need to talk to a consultant.
Thanks
Michelle
Hey Paul, glad to see you venturing noruad these parts. Vladimir certainly knows what he is talking about. I’ll pick up the book eventually, just to have it in my library of WordPress stuff.
I do not know html or css do you have to use this in this plugin? Do you have a tutorial?
Cool examples. I didn’t realize IconDock used a wp-plugin.
Now I will have to look into this.
Hei is it work in tablet or smart phone ?
UPDATE: The plugin is now woinkrg with all themes. If you already set up the plugin, you will need to re-do the settings to make it work again. Thank you @mistea and @teacherjane for letting us know about the issues so that we could get it all sorted out!
Have your say… Apakah Anda mengatakan …
o gitu alplikasinya biasa ja tu,tp mantap lo.
Its very nice but how can I customize it for my dailywp article directory?
You can get an ecommerce builder theme from ithemes.com that works with this plugin. Gorgeous styles.
