Gold Cart Files Plugin

The long awaited Gold Update,
Gold Cart is now a Plugin, Which means no more messing about uploading folders into your uploads/wpsc/upgrades directory. Simple upload and activate the Gold Cart Files Plugin like any other Plugin then submit your API Key in the Upgrades page.
The Update also includes a few merchant file changes, and Search function fixes.
If you have a previous download link, you should be able to download the new files directly from your old purchase receipt. If not please use the premium support form
NOTE: Please remove your old gold cart files from the upgrades folder prior to activating the Gold Cart Plugin otherwise conflicts may arise.

When going to my previous download link I get a zip file called “gold_cart_files” on 62,3 KB.
Is that the plugin?
Grabbing the zip from the original order mail’s download link gives you the old files. It doesn’t show as a plugin having unpacked them into the plugins directory.
same thing; get a zip, but can’t detect if these are the new files.
I just downloaded the supposedly new files…nup…same old gold cart files as before!!

Where can I find a copy of the basic plug-in that has the stylesheets and evrything else so it will load? I try to load the one you guy’s have on the site and it does not work!

Could you give some details on what’s changed? I sorta need to know if it’s worth the hassle of upgrading or not. For example, any improvements to the PayPal integration, and if so, what?
Hi Paypal is not a gold cart gateway, unless your talking about paypal flow, and in that case no no changes have been made to that file.
p/s we will let you guys know shortly when you can download the files.

I had my api keys resnt to me and 2 of the links were invalid and the 3rd for gold cart the download link works but indicates to upload to the uploads folder etc.
So it must be the old zip.
Also I purchased drop shop and the mp3 plugin awhile back also and that must be the two download links I was sent that says invalid when I try to download.
Please advise?
I looked for a place to find all my past purchases here and see nothing. I also dont see a desk to submit a ticket and the reply to the api key resend email came back as non deliverable to your old website which was used in the from email.

The plugin is useless without the API. Can’t you guys just post it like every other plugin. Someone is bound to post it out there for everyone to see anyways.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but:
`Users that have purchased Gold Cart from the Instinct Site will not be able to download the New Gold Cart Files, This is also the same with the premium support form`
For the Support Forums You will need a GetShopped API Key. If you want new files and Premium Support than support US and get yourself a new API Key. It’s not too much to ask is it?
As for those of you that have purchased your Gold Cart Files from GetShopped Please try your Download Links, I’ve tested 3 of my Old Gold Cart Links and they seem to work.
I will be making a post so everyone knows this.

I purchased mine from GetShopped 6 weeks ago and the link only provides the old files.
That is a genuine error. We’ll look into this for you and everybody else

I commented out line 597 add_action(‘init’, ‘gold_shpcrt_preview_image’); inside the gold_shopping_cart.php file by adding a // before the line.
Who knows if this fix breaks something somewhere else but at least it’s not giving that annoying error anymore.
Can I ask why previous supporters/purchasers of Gold Cart are being dumped?
I purchased mine less than six months ago. The standard period for inclusion on updates is normally 12 months.

Was thinking of getting the gold cart. What are the differences between single/blogger and business? And whats the deal with everyone unhappy about having to pay again? Should I use an alternative? Thank you.
Well, I must say I’m very desponded. I started to experience problems with wpsc plugin and gold cart addon to weeks ago. So I posted a topic on Support Forums. I received an answer that the infos I provided are not correct and next day I saw that my topic was erased. I sent an email to Dan and he redirect me to Jeff, so I sent an email to Jeff and to developer who respond me to my topic. After another two days I have no answer from any of them so I sent email to Dan, again, with hope that he might help me. Another three or four days with no luck and this update came. I made the update and I received the errors which I provided above. Of course, until today, I get no support?
I paid for gold cart and nobody assisted me and nobody even answer, in a way of other, to my emails. Sorry guys, but I thing I made a mistake with this purchase!
If I get Gold Cart for another site what guarantees do I have off support and upgrades?
Dude.. So many people are reading these and deciding to go elsewhere. Support your past users and I am sure it will make up for it in the future. Perhaps offer them an upgrade instead of full cost. As well you might want to see if some of these people are active members that perhaps deserve better treatment.
Glad to see Dan stepped up and responded to this – in the update on the most recent post he said they are working on a fix for legacy users…

I’ve been trying to find a contact info email or contact form at your site, because I have some questions about the functionality “Members only” plugin supports, and I could not find any, so I’m posting my question here hoping that somebody at your team will see it and tell me where we should actually post these questions. Is it possible to get answers about the module functionality without buying the module first?
I need to know if the module will let me create groups of pages, so when you subscribe to a group, you get access to more than one “protected” page. You could even subscribe to more than a group, therefore getting access to more than one group of protected pages. Is that possible with your plugin? From what I saw in the documentation, that is not possible, but could you please confirm?

If I sold a product that didn’t work – I wouldn’t make money. We need to know how to fix this… and you shouldn’t sell something that doesn’t work. I’m trying to get stuff done – and this is a joke. What’s the solution?
