A Plugin for your store Vendors is finally here!

This Plugin is ideal for store owners who are selling products on behalf of other people, for example downloadable products that have no stock count or a quick way of mointering how many units have been sold.

This little add on is very easy to use, just create a WordPress user with a Vendor roll.  Next time you add a product that belongs to that Vendor simply select the vendors name from the Vendors meta box and enter in the % amount that they will be receiving from the total sale.

Every time a product is sold a record will be kept and the vendor can quickly checkup on sales via a dashboard widget. Each vendor has its own widget and only products belonging to that vendor can be viewed.

This plugin has now been updated by the team at wpecommercehelp  read the update.

I have no widget in my dashboard to see vendors ratings, and no widget in vendors dashboard, so vendors can’t see their sales.
    I’m using WPEC 3.8.8.
Is the plugin compatible with latest version?

  9. mgason July 11, 2012 at 6:01 am

I do not see this vendors dashboard widget either?
I have created vendors at all 3 levels, regular, editor, admin. made a sale for a product assigned to each.
Logged in as each, no dashboard widget. nothing under screen options.

  21. Ken January 30, 2013 at 7:17 pm

Same question as John above – “Does this plugin also gives the vendor the ability to add products?” Is there any plugin that his the feature. Please suggest. Thank you.

    • Cynthia Duncan March 8, 2013 at 9:04 pm

Just login as a core administrator and add vendor user( As you create the default user with wordpress but select vendor type ” Vendor, vendor editor,Vendor admin”
After creating the vendor user, login with the created credentials and add product as a vendor.

  26. Richard Colley June 25, 2014 at 8:20 pm

I’d like to make some updates to the plugin, but I’d like to clarify the license of the existing code before doing so. Of course, I’d like to contribute the changes back to the community afterwards.

Is the owner Instinct? WPEC Help? Dustin Ward? Someone else? All the above?

It seems that wpecommercehelp.com is inactive now.

Anyone have any leads that might help me answer the ownership/license question.
